Try ponyo its a really simple anime film and fun too. also if you want something really really simple try a show called chi's sweet home. its 2min long episodes about a kitten and it has pretty basic japanese in it, i mean i can understand it and i havent been studying for that long either. I think the problem people have with learning japanese "for anime" is that your motivation for learning the language is weak, so it would be hard for it to get you through all the plateaus and rough times of learning the language.. I don't need a practical reason for wanting to learn japanese, but given the amount of japanese books/manga i read, the amount of anime/japanese movies/japanese tv series i watch, the amount of japanese music i listen to and the amount of japanese games i play i'm pretty certain it would come in handy..
You’re right. subtitles are really important for deaf people. for a long time, anime has rarely included subtitles, so it’s been really hard for japanese deaf people to enjoy anime. i think more anime has subtitles now a days. but this is talking about how to learn japanese listening skills for hearing people.. If you are learning japanese for fun because you like japanese culture such as manga and anime or for travel, an audio learning cd might be all you need. just spending an hour a day can build up grammar usage and teach you simple stock phrases and useful vocabulary.. I want to share five of the most common reasons why so many of my students are interested in learning japanese. the popularity of manga and anime definitely anime and manga have inspired many people to learn about japanese culture and language..
